Kim's Bio

Kim graduated with honors earning her degree in Interior Design from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA. She also studied with Swedish Master Painter Stig Einersen, learning traditional Faux Finishing techniques. For 10 years Kim masterfully created and applied faux finishes in homes, restaurants, offices, and stores.

Kim’s interior design career began in restaurant design, with a firm known for their skilled use of color where her keen eye for color application was further developed. During the next phase of her career Kim pivoted to residential design, designing for beach homes in Laguna and Newport Beaches. After moving to Idaho, she expanded her experience decorating luxury mountain homes in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Big Sky, Montana.

Upon returning to California, Kim joined the team at Sherwin Williams Paints as an In-Home Color Consultant creating color schemes for over 700 homes and businesses in North Coastal San Diego County.

She is now an Independent Color Consultant collaborating with clients to create their ideal color palettes.
